Meet Chris Black, RMT

Chris has spent several years studying the areas of fitness, health and nutrition. He graduated from Niagara College in Welland, Ontario with a Diploma in Fitness & Health Promotion where he developed a strong interest in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics (how the body moves).

Feeling inspired, Chris then turned his focus to massage therapy, graduating from Trillium College in St. Catharines, Ontario in March 2020 with a Diploma in Massage Therapy. The program helped Chris develop the knowledge, skills, and judgement needed to conduct client assessments, formulate clinical impressions, and develop treatment plans tailored to each client’s individual needs.

After two years in Dryden, Ontario, Chris is relocating his massage therapy practice to Sault Ste. Marie with a focus on helping people experience optimal living through relaxation, reducing stress, pain management, healing from injury, improving mobility, and helping people function at their physical best.

V

“Chris has been a great help to both my husband and me. He helped my husband with his tennis elbow and helped me with a long-term hip issue. Chris is professional and calming, applying the right amount of pressure to his massages. We both find his massages therapeutic and relaxing. He also helps me with some TMJ issues. His deep tissue work was both needed and remedial. We recommended Chris for massages to family and friends.”
